The Hollaender Interna-Rail® 174 – Obtuse Angle Tee is a precision tee fitting designed for ADA-compliant handrail systems used on stair installations. This fitting is specifically intended for use on the right side of a stairway going up, allowing the horizontal handrail to transition smoothly while maintaining a continuous, code-compliant gripping surface.
Interna-Rail® is a fully mechanical modular handrail system that delivers the clean, architectural appearance of welded rail without the need for on-site welding. The 174 Obtuse Angle Tee connects to internally riveted tubing using tubular rivets and socket head cap screws and requires a Rivet Nut Tool for proper installation. Its anodized aluminum construction provides excellent resistance to corrosion and staining, while integrated set screws create a rigid, maintenance-free joint suitable for long-term public and commercial use.
