[49201B-5] 49201 - Tangent Bend (5 °, Bottom)
Product Description
The Hollaender Interna-Rail® 49201 – Tangent Bend is a formed rail component used to create a smooth, continuous change in direction within ADA-compliant handrail systems. Unlike segmented elbows, the tangent bend provides a gradual transition that maintains a consistent gripping surface, supporting user comfort and code compliance on ramps, walkways, and stair approaches.
This tangent bend is supplied as a fixed-angle, pre-formed component and must be selected based on the required geometry of the installation. Customers must choose the appropriate angle and orientation—either 32° (top or bottom) or 5° (top or bottom)—to match the handrail layout.
Requires (2) 70ES Internal Locking Splice (Item #08655) sold separately
