The Hollaender Speed-Rail® 45SBCS – Square Base Floor Flange (1:12 Slope) is a slip-on mounting flange designed for floor-mounted posts installed on stairways or ramps. The flange is machined with a built-in 1:12 slope (approximately 4.76°), allowing the post to stand vertically even when mounted on an inclined surface. This 1:12 slope ratio is ADA compliant, making the 45SBCS ideal for accessibility-focused handrail and guardrail installations requiring accurate plumb alignment.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum-magnesium alloy, the 45SBCS provides long-lasting performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. The slip-on barrel accepts the pipe directly and secures with zinc-plated set screws—no welding or threading necessary. Always verify the correct IPS pipe size before placing an order.
