The Hollaender Speed-Rail® 78I – Gate Hinge, Female Extrusion is a slip-on hinge component designed for use in modular pipe gates and swing panels. This female hinge extrusion provides the receiving side of a hinge assembly and is engineered to work in conjunction with its corresponding male hinge part (sold separately). Once installed, the hinge allows smooth, reliable pivoting motion while maintaining the strength and structural integrity expected in commercial and industrial railing systems.
Manufactured from durable aluminum-magnesium alloy, the 78I Female Hinge offers excellent corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor settings. The slip-on design allows for straightforward installation, secured using zinc-plated set screws—no welding or threading required. Always confirm the correct IPS pipe size to ensure proper fit.
