36" Standard height prefabricated cable railing post.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A PREFABRICATED POST?
Each prefabricated post includes a 1.57" square tube with pre-drilled holes for the cable/fittings, a welded flange, a flange canopy and a top saddle (stair post saddle is adjustable).
WHAT ARE THE POST SPECIFICATIONS?
All posts are made with 316 grade stainless steel and have a satin (brushed) finish.
All post holes are drilled to fit with 232 and 224 series cable kits.
End Post: Post has a thicker 0.14" Wall. Place at the beginning/end of a railing.
Stair End Post: Post has a thicker 0.14" Wall. Holes are drilled at a standard 34º angle. Place at the beginning/end of a stair railing.
Center Post: Post has a 0.08" Wall. Place between end posts.
Stair Center Post: Post has a 0.08" Wall. Holes are drilled at a standard 34º angle. Place between end posts.
Corner Post: Post has thicker 0.14" Wall. Corner Post is fabricated with two 90 degree drilled holes permitting the use of a single post corner instead of a double post corner.
NON STANDARD STAIR ANGLES
When ordering any STAIR Prefabricated Post for Cable Railings please provide the rise and run information for us to calculate the center-to-center hole spacing of the posts.
The Cable & Stair Angle Specifications order form is available to fill out and return by fax or e-mail.
**Important:
- Cable Rail installation with directional changes must not exceed 40 feet or 2 Corners.
- Straight installation of Cable Rail can extend up to a maximum of 50 feet.
- For double corner posts, do not space more than 4 inches apart.
- Center-to-center spacing between posts must not exceed 4 Feet.
- Floor mounting bolts are NOT included.
